San Diego County Bar Association

At the center of the county’s diverse legal community, the State Bar of California’s mission is to be San Diego County’s representative of the legal profession, serving the public and the profession by enhancing the legal system and promoting justice, professional excellence and respect for the law.

State Bar of California

Created by the state legislature in 1927, the State Bar is a public corporation within the judicial branch of government, serving as an arm of the California Supreme Court. All State Bar members are officers of the court. Membership in The State Bar of California affords attorneys the right and privilege of practicing law in this state. The bar’s integrated network of functions and services — many of them mandated by law — protects the public and assists attorneys in meeting their professional obligations.

California Laywers Association — Taxation Section

California’s only statewide tax bar association. The Taxation Section’s current membership is approximately 3,000, and includes accountants, financial planners, pension and trust administrators, actuaries, tax executives, federal, state and local tax administrators, educators, other tax specialists, and law students.

California Lawyers Association — Trusts & Estates Section

The CLA is a member-driven, mission-focused organization that is dedicated to the professional advancement of attorneys practicing in California. The Trusts and Estates Section includes more than 6,000 attorneys with interest and expertise in: Estate Planning, Income and Transfer Taxes, Trust and Estate Administration, Litigation, Incapacity, and Ethics.

Professional Alliance for Children

The Professional Alliance for Children is a non-profit organization that aligns attorneys, CFPs, and CPAs in order to provide free legal and financial advice to families with a sick or injured child. Founded in 2011 the Alliance has served more than 200 families by providing individual counseling and support, representation in court proceedings, and connecting families in need with public agencies such as the Social Security Administration.

San Diego County Bar Trusts & Estate Section

Founded in 1899, The San Diego County Bar Association includes both new and veteran attorneys practicing in various legal areas throughout the county as well as other professionals that support the profession and practice. The estate planning, trust, and probate law section addresses matters of interest in the areas of estate planning, trusts, and probate law.

Better Business Bureau ( A+ Rating)

The Better Business Bureau is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping consumers in the U.S. find businesses and charities that they can trust. Their mission is to create an ethical marketplace where buyers and seller can trust each other. BBB ratings are representative of the organization’s opinion of how the business interacts with customers, an A+ rating being the highest.

Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame is a private research university founded in 1842 by the Reverend F. Sorin, C.S.C., a priest of the Congregation of the Holy Cross. As one of America’s leading undergraduate teaching institutions, Notre Dame has also been at the forefront in research and scholarship. The university has been ranked in the top 25 of institutions of higher learning by U.S News & World Report , Forbes, and others.

Marian University

Marian University, located in the heart of Indianapolis, is a Catholic university that is dedicated to providing its students with excellent teaching and learning in the Franciscan and liberal arts traditions. The university welcomes students of all faiths, creeds, and beliefs, creating an inclusive campus that includes students from 45 states and 23 nations around the world.

Indiana University

Indiana University is considered to be one of the world’s foremost public institutions. Its nine campuses located throughout the state as well as IU online offer a learning environment for every type of student. IU is home to the nation’s first school on informatics and the nations’s largest medical school as well as world-class business and music schools.

University of San Diego School of Law

Founded in 1954 the USD School of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The law school is best known for offering instruction in the areas of business and corporate law, constitutional law, intellectual property, international and comparative law, public interest, and taxation.

St. Mary’s College

St. Mary’s College, located in Notre Dame, Indiana, has been empowering women with excellent programs since it opened its doors in 1844. Ranked in the top 100 Best National Liberal Arts Colleges by U.S. News & World Report, the college has 6 national accredited programs in social work, art, music, teacher education, chemistry, and nursing.

UCLA

The University of California, Los Angeles is a public research university in Los Angeles. UCLA is organized into 6 undergraduate colleges, 7 professional schools, and 4 professional health science schools. In 2018-2019 UCLA is ranked 17th in the world for academics and is the top ranked public university in the U.S. UCLA’s core mission is education, research, and service.

Southern Methodist University

As a nationally ranked private university with 7 degree-granting schools, SMU is a distinguished center for teaching and global research with a liberal arts tradition. Located in Dallas, TX., the university offers a strong foundation in the humanities and sciences and undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs through 7 schools.

Northern Arizona University

NAU is built on a student-first foundation, delivering world-class academic programs at more than 20 statewide campuses as well as through its online program. The university consists of 6 colleges as well as a graduate and honors college, and the W.A. Franke College of Business.

San Diego State University

SDSU is the oldest higher education institution in San Diego. Since it was founded in 1897, the university has become a leading public research university, and students can choose from 91 undergraduate majors, 76 master’s programs, and 23 doctoral degree programs. SDSU ranks among the top universities nationwide in terms of racial, ethnic, and economic diversity.

University College Cork

UCC is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland. Originally named Queen’s College Cork when it opened its doors in 1845, UCC has grown to be an award-winning institution that is ranked in the top 2% of universities in the world and is one of Ireland’s leading research institutes. The university has 4 colleges: Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Science; Business and Law; Medicine and Health; and Science, Engineering, and Food Science.
